Salt Weave Studio offers a unique bespoke design service. Utilising hand woven sampling, computer aided design and local manufacturing, we can design and manufacture a truly exclusive product tailored specifically for your brand.
What We Offer
All designs start in the studio, where we develop fabrics using a mix of CAD and handwoven sampling. This means we can be both precise and a bit more experimental, playing with colour, structure and texture to create something that feels right.
We work with a range of trusted spinners to source high-quality yarns, choosing fibres that best suit each design. The handwoven sampling stage is a big part of the process — it allows us to explore ideas freely and put together a selection of samples for you to review and choose from.
Once a design is finalised, it’s woven and finished by local mills here in Yorkshire. We also have a wide-width sampling loom in the studio, which we use to weave sample lengths and blankets, helping bring ideas to life from early stages through to finished pieces.
Bespoke Blanket Collections for Trade
For trade buyers, we offer bespoke blanket collections designed specifically for your brand. Whether you’re looking for a small, focused range or something more seasonal, we’ll work with you to develop designs that fit your aesthetic and customer.
You’ll be able to choose from a selection of sampled designs, with flexibility across colour, scale and fibre. Everything is woven in Yorkshire using quality yarns, with a focus on creating pieces that feel considered, practical and long-lasting.
It’s a collaborative process, but a straightforward one — with the aim of creating a collection that feels genuinely your own.
